Our healing team Deborah Capuano, LCMT, Principal Diane Porter, Usui Reiki Master/Teacher Christa van der Smissen, Ph.D. Deborah Capuano is a graduate of the Polarity Realization Institute in Ipswich, Massachusetts. She established her practice in 1999 and is nationally licensed in massage therapy. As the principal of her practice, she brings a wide breadth of knowledge and experience in the areas of Polarity therapy, Cranial Sacral and Lymphatic Drainage. As a Polarity therapist, her work includes working with the life force within, balancing your chakra’s, colors and pathways, and bringing balance to your spirit. Her continued education has included studies at the John Upledger Institute, MRI Muscular Therapy, and Massage Works of Evergreen, Inc. Deborah is known for her own style of holistic healing. Working with breath, crystals, tuning forks, essential oils, guided imagery and rituals, she uses her words and trusts her intuitive instincts, as she connects to your body, mind and spirit. She has been interested in healing most of her adult life. As a born healer, she has journeyed through traditional and non-traditional experiences working in hospitals, assisting nurses and patients, and finally in her own holistic practice. Her network includes doctors and therapists of many distinctions. Deborah’s hands connect with her heart and her instincts…she is one with you and knows the dance well. Bill graduated from Dovestar Institute in NH and is nationally certified with the National Certification Board of Massage Therapy and Bodywork. Since then, Bill has enjoyed helping people with his massage skills. He has a diverse range of skills, having worked with professional bodybuilders, giving deep tissue massage to providing day spa treatments including Swedish massage, hot stone therapy, salt glow exfoliation treatments, and craniosacral therapy. Bill is a family man, married with 3 wonderful children. He came to massage therapy in a round-about way, having been a computer engineer for several years. When the downturn happened in the computer industry, Bill investigated massage school. “I took my first massage class and loved it. After that, I was hooked”. Gail is a professional massage and polarity therapist, and a Reiki Master. She completed the holistic program at Spa Tech Institute, formerly known as the Polarity Realization Institute. She is certified through the National Certification Board of Massage Therapy and Bodywork. Gail practices a variety of modalities which include reflexology, pregnancy and infant massage, neuromuscular therapy, hot stone therapy, vibrational healing with tuning forks and chair massage. Her focus is to integrate the mind, body and spirit connection. Gail’s mission is to provide a peaceful and nurturing experience for her clients. Diane is a Usui Reiki Master/Teacher and has been practicing Reiki for 7 years. She is very grateful to have received the gift of Reiki. She decided she wanted to pass on this gift and teach Reiki. She attended John Harvey Gray's school to become a Reiki Master. Diane made the decision to participate in this year long program instead of a quicker route which resulted in her ability to learn much more information and gain valuable insight. As a child I knew things but I never spoke about it to anyone because no one ever spoke about it to me. No child wants to be “different.” As I grew older I began to realize that there was something more. Still unsure…but something more…Ahhh…then it began, you see my gift came to me (or I realized exactly what it was) with the passing of three very dear loved ones.
